Black History book exchange for the month of February (or beyond)?
This would entail those of us who have books with black characters, by black authors or illustrators bring books that kids or adults can exchange or share. With kids they could exchange books every week with the agreement of being responsible for the book, no damage pages, covers etc.
if the book is damaged then they would be responsible for replacing. This would give the kids and opportunity to share, read and learn more about our history and culture.
